The weekend of June 1, members of the Shoshone-Bannock and other tribes will visit the Camas Prairie for Camas Lily Day. It's a time to harvest and roast camas, learn about Indian culture, and enjoy springtime in Camas County. I'm excited to see friends I met last year and meet new people. It's a great event for writers and photographers to practice their skills. We plan to take our kids to the fishing derby May 31. See you in Fairfield!
