Presentiment in the form of Google

I was delighted to receive an e-mail yesterday from Ted, a Ballard relative on the East coast who had stumbled upon my blog while searching for Internet references to the Camas County Courier. Up popped my post entitled "Presentiment," which tells of my meeting two Ballard relatives at a restaurant here this past spring. In his e-mail, Ted shared some stories and ancestry information that will help me as I continue researching Ballard and Camas Prairie history. I was reminded that this is why I blog and why I have a Web site: to connect me with the people who can help and who share an interest in writing and history. Thanks, Ted! And anyone else who's Googling Camas Prairie topics.
